Right of withdrawal

The short version

• As a consumer, you can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days, without giving a reason.
• For the course, which is digital content, that right ends once you start using the course, but only if you agreed to that when you bought it.
• If you withdraw in time, you get your money back within 14 days.

Your right

If you are a consumer, you have 14 days to withdraw from the agreement without giving a reason. For the course, the 14 days start the day after the agreement is made, which is when you receive our order confirmation. You can withdraw as long as you send your notice before the 14 days end.

Exception: you start the course right away

The course is digital content delivered online. By law, you lose the right of withdrawal for such content once delivery has started, if:

1. you expressly agreed to the delivery starting before the 14 days have passed;
2. you acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal by doing so; and
3. we confirmed this to you in our order confirmation.

At checkout we ask you to confirm something like this:

We only start the delivery after you start the course yourself. If you do not give this confirmation, your access starts after the 14 days have passed, and you keep your right of withdrawal until then.

How to withdraw

You can use any clear statement. The easiest options are:

1. The withdrawal button. [WITHDRAWAL BUTTON: say where it is, e.g. "on your account page and in your order confirmation". It must be built before launch. See PROJECT_NOTES.md.] You do not need to create an account to use it. Enter the details we need to find your order, then confirm.
2. Email [email protected], with your name and the email address you ordered with.
3. The model withdrawal form below, sent by email or post to the address below.

You will immediately receive a confirmation of your withdrawal by email, showing the date and time. If you send your notice before the 14 days end, it counts as in time.

What happens after you withdraw

• We refund everything you paid within 14 days after we receive your notice.
• We refund to the same payment method you used, at no cost to you.
• Your access to the course ends.

When the right of withdrawal does not apply

• If you bought for business purposes rather than as a consumer.
• Once you have started the course after giving the confirmation described above.
• To private lessons booked through Preply. Their terms apply to those.
